Sometimes dental braces can be irritating to the mouth. This Ortho Wax forms a protective barrier which promotes healing and makes an excellent buffer between the braces and lips, cheek or tongue:

  • Used to cover loose or broken parts of your braces, hooks, newly placed braces that may cause soft tissue irritation or sore spots. Stick on orthodontic appliances to help relieve irritated tissue

Tips and Advice on your Orthodontic Wax

When you first get your braces or after an adjustment, you may feel sharp edges or small projections that are difficult to get used to. This wax relieves wire & bracket irritation.

DIRECTIONS:

  • Simply pinch off a small piece and roll it into a ball the size of a small pea.
  • Dry off the area first as the wax will stick better.
  • Flatten the ball and place it completely over the area of the braces causing irritation. Press it around the part and smooth it with your fingers.
  • Continue to brush your teeth even while using wax.
  • Ortho Wax is harmless and can be applied to your braces as often as is needed. If you swallow wax it will not harm you!
