ASPIRIN or Acetylsalicylic Acid or ASA
Aspirin or Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) is a drug used against minor
toothache,
pains, aches, fever, and as anti-inflammatory. It was the first discovered member of the class of Pain Killers known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID).

Dental Use:

Toothache,
Tooth Pain, Dental Pain, Odontalgia, Odontalgy.
- Treatment of mild to moderate pain.
- Treatment of postoperative pain.
Oral Dosage for Adults and Children 12 years of age and older:
- 325-600 mg every 4-6 hours up to 4 g/day.
Do not exceed 4,000 mg/daily!
Significant Complications:
- nausea, vomiting, heartburn, ulceration
- bleeding disorders
